Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center is a nonprofit organization that provides employment opportunities to people with physical disabilities throughout the Muhlenberg and Hopkins counties in Kentucky. It provides vocational evaluation and training, and organizes workshops and prepares individuals for jobs in competitive employment. The center owns and operates grocery and clothing stores that offer a variety of products, including canned and frozen foods, dairy products, pet food, kitchen accessories, household items, toys, books, exercise equipment and furniture. The products manufactured by the center include sight rods, utility rags, garden stakes, trophies and plaques, ribbons medals, crowns, scepters and gift accessories. It also operates a recycling facility for aluminum cans, cardboards, newspapers and white office paper. Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center is located in Greenville, Ky.
