Update: It's been confirmed. My condition should have never been overlooked. All the symptoms I wrote down before every visit for over a year, closer to two, pointed directly to the tests I should have received. Although I cannot say for sure, I do not think they know the proper testing. If they do not know the symptoms of a vastly growing neurological disease, I doubt they would be very proficient in testing for it. So I was misdiagnosed with an illness there is no actual diagnosis for.... I call it a default diagnosis, "Fibromyalgia." Then given steroidal nerve blocks, very profitable for them, and masked the pain for me.

Okay, but the bigger problem is that the treatment given was one of the worst things I could have received for my condition. In fact it fed the disease as I grew chronic. Note: I next to pleaded with them to listen to me. But they wouldn't. So I went and got very extensive neurological testing done at one of the best clinics in the country. Physiological, psychological , and good old fashioned blood and urine work. (When I came back to the office the doctor hadn't even looked at my results.) And I was right, "something was very wrong." But it wasn't my thinking. It is a bacterial disease. One that any Neurologist should be up to date on and know how to diagnose because, isn't that right up their ally? And isn't that what we hire them for? To diagnose and if they don't treat, refer?

I am not impressed with these doctors. When you call the office, no one answers the phone. Ever. You have to leave a message each time you call. Your call is never returned either. They also refilled a script for my mother with an incorrect dosage; thank God we caught that ourselves.
