About Record-Herald The Greensburg Record-Herald was founded in 1895 as the Green County Record. The paper merged with the Greensburg Herald in 1925. The Greensburg Record-Herald is a Kentucky Centennial Business. The weekly paper is published each Wednesday and features news about the people of Green County and events that affect them. The Record-Herald offers total market coverage, which is achieved by sending section B of the newspaper to non-subscribers in Green County and nearby areas. The deadline for news and advertisements is 2 p.m. Mondays, except for weeks of major Monday holidays, when the deadline is 2 p.m. Fridays.
