Longwood Industries is a subsidiary of Longwood Elastomers. The parent company, established in 1989, produces specialized molded products and sheet goods. Its products and technology are used to serve the automotive, heavy truck, railroad, food processing, industrial, oilfield, controls, marine, mining plumbing, electrical, medical, consumer and pump markets. The company s range of products includes airbrake diaphragms, seals, bladders, couplings, custom molded products, extruded products, sheet stock, coated fabrics and composite materials. Longwood Elastomers has eight production facilities in the United States and one in Europe. Through the years, the company has acquired divisions of several companies, including the Gates Molded Products Company, Aeroquip Molded Rubber Products, Goodyear fabric reinforced molded rubber and extruded products, Fairprene Industrial Products, Volker Hog, Scraper and Polishing Whip Division and Eagle-Picher Rubber Molding Division.
