Cone Elementary School is a part of Guilford County Schools. The school district serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 and includes Alamance Elementary School, General Greene Elementary School, Jamestown Elementary School and Brown Summit Middle School. Cone Elementary School provides classes in physical education, language arts, computer skills, math, science, social studies and English. Its extracurricular activities include band and choir. The school s library provides a collection of fiction and nonfiction books, storybooks, picture dictionaries and encyclopedias. Located in Greensboro, N.C., Cone Elementary School additionally offers special education programs for students with mental and physical disabilities. It serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five.
