Took my dog to Animal Ark because of loose stool a couple of days ago. They provided me w/ medicine to put in his food. Had another dog that was having the same issue. Spent 32.00 for this medicine. Neither dog would touch their food w/ this medicine in it. I was told to mix in w/ their food. Went back to the vet this morning, they would not refund me the 32.00 but did sell me a new prescription which I had to pay for (pills this time). The office manager called me and told me that since the original medicine was opened that they could not refund. I said how was I supposed to know that the dogs would not eat w/ that medicine. End result no refund. I have spent hundreds of dollars there in the last few weeks. The least they could do is stand behind the medicine I bought from them. Medicine I probably paid retail price while they get it at wholesale. I do not think it is to much to ask after all the money I spent there for them to step up to the plate and take care of this issue. I was told, by the office manager Mary Lee, it was probably best for me to go to another vet. I went over and got all my paperwork for both of my dogs. I will take their advice and take my dogs to a vet who puts the dogs first and not profit. The dogs are now older and they have always had all their shots up to date and grooming since they were puppies. Animal Ark prescribed the medicine, it did not work out, so now they will not stand up and do the right thing here and just switch out the medicine they prescribed with the new medicine I bought today. Yes Animal Ark I will go to another vet. It is the principle here that you could not do the right thing.

I have been brining my "furry babies" to Brassfield for about 3 years. The staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Hodges and Dr. Yerex always take a lot of time to go over test results and explain/answer any questions I have. I would HIGHLY recommend Brassfield Animal Hospital to any pet parent.
