Greene County High School, located in Greensboro, Ga., is a public school that is a part of Greene County Schools. It enrolls more than 600 students from grades eight through 12. It offers an academic program that is designed for students who intend to continue their formal education beyond high school. The school provides a comprehensive education in all core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, literature, science, biology, chemistry, United States government and politics, health and physical education and art. Greene County High School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities, such as art club, literary club, student council, yearbook, band, science club and sports, including basketball, softball, football, wrestling and athletics.
