I am giving this Lowe's 3 stars only because of the merchandise which they carry which is good and plentiful. However, If I were rating them on customer service, they would do well to get 1 star. It seems to be a self help store only. No matter how lost you are or seem, all those people in the red vests just ignore you. I went to the store several months ago to look for a washer and dryer. There were two Lowe's employees (red vests) talking at the computer station. They seemed to be at least 50 years of age or older and should have known better, but even though I repeatedly walked around all the washers and dryers, not once did they ask if they could help. I guess in this day and age they think people don't want to be bothered and just ignore us unless we specifically ask. I formerly worked in retail and was repeatedly told to be customer oriented..greet customers, ask if they needed assistance, and then help them in any way possible.Getting no help I left.&bought appliances elsewhere.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to one of Lowe's Employees~ Jamie. She has been helping me today with some fraudulent charges that were made to my husband's credit card last night at their location in Tennessee (we however live in Georgia). Thanks to her quick action, they've been able to find the video of the guys who did this and will be on the look-out for them. Thanks so much Jamie for staying in touch with me and letting me know your findings. Very much appreciated !!

I was told that your Picket fences would be on sale through today (4-21-09 or 4-22-09). I took off work, had to ask another person to take off work, because I could not put the fence on my car. We get there. I go back to get the fence and it is not on sale. I tell the cashier. She has another man go look. We walk back, and low and behold, it is exactly what I said. No sale sign. He asked a girl unloading plants, and she says she didn't know there was a sale. No one could help me, no one knew what was going on, no one knew what to do. When I called, I was told all the managers would be in a meeting for an hour or hour and half. Not much service!!!!! Sharon Cornett423-416-8940
