Located in Greencastle, Ind., Putnam County Comprehensive Services, also known as PCCS, is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with economical needs, and mental, physical and developmental disabilities in Putnam and surrounding counties in Indiana. Established in 1968, it offers more than 30 services and programs that are individually designed according to the individual s needs, abilities, strengths and preferences. The organization s programs and services include assessments, case management, referrals and employment assistance. It offers various employment programs, such as sheltered and community employment. The organization s sheltered employment program provides employment and training services to individuals who require special training. Its community development program offers various services, including assistance with job development, supported employment, ongoing training and advocacy.
