This was such an unexpected surprise. My daughter and I and the two grandchildren were siteseeing and took Chipita road off Highway 24. The Mucky Duck is on a "very small" main street but menu was fantastic. I had the appetizer of baked brie, French baquette, and assortment of fresh fruit along with one "exceptional" tomato bisque.(escargot is even offered as an appetizer). My daughter had soup(again homemade) and sandwich combo. Roast beef was piled high and lean. Even the grilled cheese for the girls was a three layer with fresh fruit. (No French Fries at this establishment). Their menu also included Ginger Teriyaki Salmon along with other distinguised entrees. The inside is "upscale rustic" with highly polished timbers and welcoming fireplace. We wanted something memorable and out of the ordinary. We chose wisely in stopping at the Mucky Duck.
