YWCA since 1919, Daycare Since 1967 The YWCA Daycare offers exceptional, state licensed care in a secure, family-like atmosphere. Daycare instructors are certified, caring people who are committed to enriching the lives of children. The Creative Curriculum® is used in all YWCA Daycare rooms to provide a play-based environment for children to learn. It incorporates large and small motor activities, outside play, following directions, and the opportunity for self-expression, sharing of ideas, and socialization. Children are also introduced to academic topics such as reading, math, and science. Free swimming lessons, play swim, and gym time are offered to all children enrolled in the YWCA Daycare. Families are also encouraged to participate in other YWCA enrichment classes, such as dance and gymnastics, while children are at daycare. AMENITY Free swimming lessons included for daycare children 2 and older. Opportunity to take advantage of other YWCA children's programs while child is at daycare. Roof top play area.
