I thought Great Expectations was a great place to take my dog but after only one day there I will never take him back. My dog was placed in with other dogs that ended up hurting him and they wouldn't even acknowledge he was hurt there and insinuated that I did it. I was totally disappointed and upset at there reaction for people who claim they love dogs.

I have taken my standard poodle to Great Expectations for many years and have been delighted by the care. Jack goes to daycare and also we kennel him several times a year when we go on vacation. He loves going and Fern takes care of him and if he runs out of food she will buy him a hamburger, because she knows that is what we feed him. We love it there and if you are looking for a great place this is it. Carol and Dan - and Jack the dog.

Jeff Tarkowski is an amazing dog trainer and is able to help with dog behavior as well. It is what he was meant to do, he is such a natural at looking at each dog individually. My GSD Fritz and I take lessons from Jeff and compete in Schutzhund. So glad I found him.

She has attended day care 2-3 days / week since then and I could not ask for a better facility with such caring people to care for her . We also use them for boarding while we are out of town. Jeff and his staff are fantastic, and love each dog as if they were their own. I also appreciate Jeff always taking time to help with any problems or questions we may have. He is ALWAYS there for you.

I love Great Expectations! I have a very high energy German Short Haired Pointer puppy, and with the cold weather she just hasn't had the opportunity to burn off some of that energy. After countless chewed slippers, books and garbages I decided to bring her to Great Expectations Day Care. I was hoping that she would be able to run and socialize with other dogs her size, then come home blissfully tired. My first visit was very positive, I had a gentleman give me a tour while he explained all the many services Great Expectastions has to offer. The training classes offered in the evening seems like it would be especially beneficial to my undisciplined puppy. The facility is clean and the dogs well cared for with a staff very knowledgable about cannine behavior. I left Penny in their capable hands quiet a few times since and she always comes home happy and tired, with each visit she runs right in the play room with her tail wagging!
