The Brown County Facility Management Department is a public service agency that serves more than 1 million square feet of buildings and their respective grounds. It offers a variety of services, such as climate control, space planning, energy management, preventive maintenance, and mechanical and electrical repair. The department also offers light construction, housekeeping, laundry, grounds and lots maintenance, and contracted and emergency services. In addition, the Brown County Facility Management Department performs functions related to vehicle maintenance, signage, building security, records management, and lock and copy center services. Located in Green Bay, Wis., it has a computerized facilities management program that monitors services to assure the control of priorities and efficient labor utilization.
