I am about to renew my lease again for the 4th year! I live at 3044 Conesta Dr. I love my Apt. and the maintence I receive from Bigelow Rentals! I feel safe and secure in my complex and it is kept clean inside and the grounds are well maintained as well. I am PROUD to call this my home since October, 2011! Thank You ~

Bigelow rentals is only caring when it is time to collect the rent. It takes weeks to get anything repaired and that is only after multiple calls to the office and then the women are rude who answer the phones. Snow removal is a huge huge problem in Depere, plan on staying stuck for days after it snows, they have more important things to do! I guareentee that any good reviews on here were written by management to counter the bad reviews they are trying to cover up. Can't wait to get out of here when the lease expires soon. This company does NOT care about it's tenants...do not rent if looking for prompt and couteous service.

I agree with the snow removal problem in De Pere! Having small children and having to wait an entire day just to get out of the garage is ridiculous! Not to mention a safety issue. I can't shovel myself because of a back problem...snow removal is supposed to be included. Also there is a huge ant problem, even now in the middle of winter. They live under the slab and in the walls. I keep my place clean but if one thing drops on the floor it's covered in ants within 1-2 hours. And noise is a problem, don't rent a lower unit! You will hear things you just don't wanna hear...

I live in De Pere and Bigelow rentals bought my apartment complex at the beginning of August and naever cut the grass until winter covered it up. By the time snow fell the grass was at least 6 inches long. Then in the winter it took over 48 hours for the drive way to be plowed and sidewalks to be shoveled. My wife and I both missed a day of work because we could not get out of our garage or drive way. The sidewalks had two foot drifts several days. I have a newborn and called to ask if the could remove the snow and ice hazards so my family could be safe and was told I could shovel this myself or wait for them to get to it. This has happened twice already this winter. We will be moving as soon as our lease is up. I have never lived at a complex managed this poorly eventhough it is the newest and highest rent place we have lived. terrible service!

I have had many problems with Bigelow. Their maintence man is so creepy, he used my toliet and knocked some of my glass things over and just left them, it also took them a week to fix things, so I just stopped calling for maintence because of those reasons. I had to put in many of complaints to a very loud neighbor and months later she is still there. The doors are always staying open and not locking, I was uncomfortable with that for security purposes. they also said that they couldnt work with me on rental issues for transferring apartments nor changing my leasing options. I would not recommend them.

I would also have to agree with the snow removal problem I never had any problems getting out of my drive way but I have a truck I can understand that they have a lot of apartments and that they have to plow them all but the fact that it doesnt happen untell a day or two later doesnt make any sence to me. I agree that the housing units are not the most energy effiant but they pay for my heat so I could careless about how much it cost to heat the place. Most of the time that I have needed there services for fixing something they are usually here in about a week or so.

I have rented many places in the past, and by far, Bigelow has been on the top of my list. The snow removal was top notch, as well as the landscaping. Whenever there was a problem, there was always someone there to fix it. I had to recently cancel my lease due to a relocation for work. As most property owners would just stick to the rules, Bigelow worked to get my unit rented as quickly as possible to keep my costs down. They cancelled the lease when the unit was rented. I was only left paying very minimal lease termination charges. If I have to move back to the NE WI area (De Pere previously) I will for sure check out the Bigelow properties first!

I have to disagree with the snow removal being immediate. For our complex, it's sometimes a day and sometimes two days later. By that time, all the snow is packed down and it all turns to ice. While the property looks beautiful in the summer, in my opinion, the building's themselves are very poorly built. They used very cheap materials and there is very little insulation. I can hear everything my neighbor is saying in their apartment from inside my apartment. Trust me, there are just some things you really don't want to hear. So far I have had a few problems with heat and other things breaking and it seems that when they are contacted, I am not on top of their priority list and it's as though you are a whiner if you complain too much. I think that it's places like this that make people realize that they are wasting their hard earned money on someone who could care less about them, and then decide they are better off buying a house than renting.

We currently live in De Pere, and are renting from Bigelow Rental. Bigelow has been wonderful and very easy to rent from. The grounds are neat and well kept. Snow removal is immediate, there are very few problems due to proper maintenance of their property. When problems occur they are fixed immediately. This past winter, our heat went out. Bigelow sent (Tim) who got to work fixing the problem. We were offered a place to stay for the night. Bigelow had our heat fixed immediately. Bigelow called multiple times to check on us to make sure the heat was working and we were warm.We have rented in many different places and from alot of different companies. BUYER OR RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!BIGELOW IS THE WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM. HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS ALONG WITH BUILDING CODE VIOLATIONS. AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX THE PROBLEM OF MOLD. I'VE HAD MY CAR BROKEN INTO 2 TIMES AND THEY REFUSE TO PUT ANY LIGHTING IN THE PARKING LOT.!!! DO NOT RENT FROM BIGELOW !!!
