      I was offered a job as a specialty crane operator for this company. An agreement was signed and I flew in to take the job. When I flew in they tried to offer me considerably less money to take the job. I declined and flew back home. While I was there I noticed that the companies staff were very incompetent. The office would have made me turn around and find someone else immediately if I was a customer, it was a wreck. It was the most unprofessional environment I have ever had the pleasure to see. Two days after I arrived back home I watched a news report about a job they took lifting a helicopter off of the pad on the children's memorial hospital in Aurora Co. They didn't have the jib with the crane and it took an extra day to get another crane and the jib to do the job. This companies management didn't even look at the lift before sending the crane or cross reference the lift charts to see if it could be done in its current configuration. This company is extremely incompetent and I would suggest using someone that has a crane superintendent that has had his certification at least a few years not months. These guys are truck drivers not crane operators. Hopefully the children's hospital didn't need the helicopter pad in an emergency while Ultra Energy Solutions figured out how to get the job done.
