The above rating is for Zamrod, which replaced Mediternee more than a year ago. Zamrod serves wonderful Afghani dishes in a charming setting- warm, cozy & friendly service. The food is well prepared by the owner-chef. He has a long background in the restaurent business. We used to frequent his restaurant in herndon, many years ago. This menu will please everyine. Lamb dishes are succulent. The most tender and juicy kababs, fresh well prepared salmon and so many wonderful vegeterian dishes, entrees as well as appetizers. Muntoo, Aushak, eggplant, pumpkin ,spinich rice, saffron rice. My only problem is that I like so much of the menu, that it's hard to decide what to order. just check out the menu. I'm drooling!
