Cyd Lash Academy is an alternative high school that provides flexible academic programs with emphasis on the development of basic academic, emotional and social learning and thinking skills. It provides audiological, information management and nursing services. The academy offers psychological, prevocational, transition, transportation and social work services. Cyd Lash Academy also provides occupational and physical therapy and speech and language services. The school also administers the English Language Learners program. It is governed by Special Education District of Lake County, which additionally manages Cyd Lash Academy, Laremont School, Marjorie Ureche Early Childhood Center, Gages Lake School, Sally Potter School and John Powers Center. Cyd Lash Academy is located in Gages Lake, Ill.
