If I could give less than one star, I would. Worst experience EVER! Once upon a time I went to Mai's every 2 weeks for 10 years, so even though I have not had my nails done in several years, I didn't hesitate to go back. Apparently there are new owners. The service is horrible, the staff is less then friendly. There was no eye contact, the owner was very abrupt, the rest of the staff did not speak to us at all except to repeatedly up sale services. While having my nails done the owner cut my finger with nail clippers while cutting my nails, absolutely destroyed my cuticles with the dremal, she was extremely rough through the whole thing. Asked her several times to take it easy and she just huffed at me. While having my eyebrows waxed, the wax was WAY to hot and she got it everywhere. Our pedicures were disappointing at best. The owner appears to be the only one who actually does nails so she is extremely rushed, all of our nails are already chipping, less then 24 hours after having them done. Absolutely the worst. We will NOT be returning.

Not a good experience. She pushed me to get the expensive one after I said no multiple times, told me no to putting on a different color, and literally left a gap on my nail from the new nail

I came in today for my first ever pedicure and am very disappointed! As I've gotten older I can't do my own nails any more and was really looking forward to pampering myself.

First your shop needs better venallation, I was wearing a mask and still had Asthma reactions. I had asked for the door to be open which an employee did, but then someone who looked like a manager later closed it.

Second the woman who worked on my feed seemed bored & disinterested, she yawned a few times.

Third she didn't even glance at my foot to see the large bruise on top and I had to point it out to her & ask her to be more gentle!!

Fourth, after sitting under the dryer, she checked my rt foot but not the left and there was a big bubble along the edge of my big toenail which popped & wrinkled!

When I got home I can see very sloppy work on other nails also!!!

I will not be back!

Maybe the quality of training has gone down over the years?

One good thing came of it, the woman next to me told me about another place that is excellent.

I found this Nail Salon by accident and it turned out to be the BEST accident I ever could have made. I usually stay clear of any Nail Salon run by non-American individuals you probably do too. BUT>>>>> The owners and operators of Mai's take extra special care of each client and they make sure clients are happy with their entire experience. They are experts when it comes to getting your nails exactly the way YOU want them... NOT how THEY want them. That was my very first experience with a shop that did my nails the way I wanted them done. They are priced right for the awesome products and services you will receive. If you are not completely satisfied, they WILL make it right. I went there so much I was privy to almost every possible kind of transaction both good and not so good but Mr & Mrs Mai, ALWAYS made each complaint their Most important Priority. I wouldn't go anywhere else regardless if one or all my nails needed to be fixed.
