We were driving through on a road trip and stopped to have our oil changed and brakes checked. They told us that our shocks were bad and we were pulling a trailer so we needed heavy duty ones. They got the shocks delivered and stood around in their phones and disappeared for 15 minutes at a time while we tried to keep our kids entertained in their disgusting waiting room. Their lot was a junk pile of broken down cars and we should have just left when we saw the place. We drove to another shop the next day to get the front shocks done because the guys at riverside couldnt get them in time and the next shop told us that the new shocks they had put on were bottom of the line and NAPA doesnt even sell those and they are not heavy duty. We had to have the work redone and now Riverside wont acknowledge they did anything wrong and wont make it right. They are belligerent and rude and crooked. DONT GO THERE!

Friday April 22, my car overheated on westbound I-40 at mm100, I waited two hours for a tow from Thoreau NM (50 miles away. He took us to Riverside Auto in Grants NM. my wife and I were on vacation and I thought we would be stranded here for a few days, my surprise the guys at Riverside started right away fixing my Chevy. Floyd the mechanic even loaned us his car so we could go get something to eat. they works for about 5 hours on our car and fixed it. everyone was helpful and friendly. it turned out to be a very pleasant part of our vacation. I was expecting a bill of over $300.00 and would have gladly paid it, but the bill was under $190.00. I was very happy, these guys are great! We were able to continue our 3200 mile trip though the Southwest to visit family and friends, and the car ran great. I would recommend Riverside Auto to anyone. Bad service got moter work done on my head. They used old parts and fixed it half the effort now its back in the shop getting fixed for the same thing again that they should have fixed right the first time now I have to spend another 2000 to get it fixed right and when I called to get money back or pay for this bill they refused....worst auto shop ever...dont get work done there at all.
