Daniel Fenton started life as a programmer and operational consultant for mental health and substance abuse clinics. This required a strong background in data systems focused on research, treatment, and billing. After mental health and substance abuse took a heavy hit with indigent funding cuts starting in 2003 that stripped research and treatment over the next 3 years, he made the move to nursing.
