• Dental Examination
  Your first visit to our office will be a chance for us to get acquainted and to answer your orthodontic questions. Dr. Bauer will conduct a thorough oral examination in which he will determine the specific course of treatment needed and will answer any remaining questions that you may have. A treatment plan will be formulated and reviewed and treatment time and costs will be discussed.

Preventive

• Teeth Cleaning
  If plaque remains on the teeth for any length of time, it can leave a permanent white scar on the surface. A waterpik or an electric toothbrush can be a useful addition, however, please continue to see your dentist at least every 6 months for regular dental cleanings.

Prosthodontics

• Dentures
  Do not use denture cleaners to clean aligners and do not soak your aligners in mouthwash. These products can damage the surface of the plastic causing it to become more visible, sometimes making the teeth look somewhat yellow.
