The Grandview Fire Department is a full-service agency that is located in Grandview, Mo. It provides emergency and nonemergency services for the preservation of life, property and environment from the threats of fire and disasters. The department s services include hazardous materials response, fire prevention, business inspections, and search and rescue. The Grandview Fire Department responds to more than 2800 calls for service annually. It organizes various Safety programs for schools, neighborhood groups and businesses that educate citizens in preventing fires. The department works with a team of a fire chief and over 30 uniformed Firefighters. It also provides emergency medical, life safety and public education services. The Grandview Fire Department is operated by the city of Grandview, which additionally manages police, public works and parks departments.
