My husband and I bought a semi from River City Equipment - advertised with "virgin" tires. They switched the virgin tires for 9 y/o 3-time recapped tires between the time it was test drove and when we picked it up, WITHOUT TELLING US. The recaps appeared in very good condition, but less than 2 weeks later, my husband had 2 blowouts within 24 hours, endangering his life and the lives of others. We learned of the recaps after the first blowout. They offered us a measly $500 for over $5000 of loss - tires, down time, service calls, etc. I would never do business with them again. I sincerely regret ever having heard their name. Save yourself the heartache and money.
