I just recently closed a purchase transaction, I worked with Jim Rogers and he was fantastic to work with.... very customer service oriented. I cannot compliment him enough or express how pleased we were with every aspect of the service we received from both Jim and Member First Mortgage... we will definitely refer our friends and family!

Best company I have ever worked with! my credit union referred me to them and I can't thank them enough, I had to close on the purchase of our new home in 15 days since we already had our home sold and we were burned by another lender, Member First jumped at the task and got everything done with time to spare, its not often you get to work with a company that treats you like a person and actually cares...don't hesitate to use this company, the other reviews listed here couldn't be further off from the experience I had with them. I will recommend friends and family to Member First!

Applied for a re-finance in March. It's now September and haven't closed. The new rep on our account said "it sat on someone's desk" and she didn't know why. If we weren't locked into such a good rate (3%) I would drop them like a hot potatoe. We applied through our credit union. If we ever re-finance again, I'll make sure I ask who they are turning over the loan to.

I have to say, this has got to be the best mortgage company I have ever worked with. The sales staff was very friendly, and the process went very smooth... they set the expectation on the time frame up front, and they helped me get into this house all in a timely fashion. My realtor has mentioned that it was one of the easiest transactions they ever had as well. I was originally sent to Member First from my credit union, and they let me know that they trust this company and would never use anyone else, I got a really good rate and low closing fees.... I compared them to a few other lenders just to make sure I was getting the best deal.. they were right in line with the market and the service was spectacular.... two thumbs up!

Worst mortgage company EVER!!! I would give them negative stars if I could! They spent 45 days doing NOTHING, missed the final loan approval deadline and were not able to get the loan processed in time for our scheduled closing. Horrible, useless, incompetent, liars.
