It's rare for me to find someone more knowledgeable about lenses than me, but Mark's staff tend to be able to teach me stuff still. They are friendly and when they have the time they love to talk cameras and lenses, and now they know me by name.

This store also has one of the largest and most affordably priced selections of used equipment that I have ever seen.

If you are a photographer in the Kentwood area or are a budget photographer in the Grand Rapids area you should stop in here.

Your friend may be right! When I first started going there the service was amazing. Now there are a bunch of new workers who are not friendly at all. Maybe your friend is like me and knew what the service USED to be.

They also took away the public restroom. This is not a big deal for me but my 2 year old had to go and they wouldn't let her. She almost wet her pants. So I had to haul my 3 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old across the street to Wendy's! I've been going there for over 6 years and no one else was in the store. I'm sorry but I was not a happy camper.

I no longer go out of my way to purchase things from that store. Not impressed anymore.
