Be sure that she understands what is said between you. Have it documented....my experience with Carolyn Gaston PC was very unprofessional. After discussing and providing documents she looked me in the eye said she was confident she could work with what we had. 7 weeks later after billing me for over $1000 and a conversation with plaintiffs attorney she sent a wrothy letter in the mail........no phone call ...just sent letter stating that I was a liar and she was not going to defend me... and demanded full payment!! One must wonder ..? who is she working for??? She may be capable, but my recommendation is before handing over any money be sure to know what she will use as your defense... My experience with Carolyn reinforces the saying that 99% of lawyers make it tough for the 1% that have integrity.
