I have never had to post a negative review online for anything. I feel the need to now. This Grand Haven secretary of state branch has been a convenient location, for my family, for many years until now. I went here with my special needs son, to take a drivers test. He was taking the test, one if the employees was extremely rude and yelled, to my son and I, from across the room, (and there was a room full of people also). She continued to embarrass and humiliate us in front of everyone at the counter, by what she was talking to us about. I understand what the concern was, but she could have quietly said my son's name and requested him to bring the test to the counter, in a more quiet and RESPECTFUL way. She chose to talk very rude to us in a demeaning manner and my son was very humiliated so much, that he was hanging his head in embarrassment. I would rate a zero star but there is no choice for this rating. I feel, if you know, when you decide to work in the field of dealing with people, there should automatically be respect shown. We were not rude at all. So my rating for this branch is zero. Poor poor service and shameful.
