Nathan F. Twining Elementary/Middle School operates under Grand Forks Public Schools, which includes Phoenix Elementary School, Red River High School and Schroeder Middle School. The district also operates Community High School, J. Nelson Kelly Elementary School, Lake Agassiz Elementary School and Lewis & Clark Elementary School. Nathan F. Twining Elementary/Middle School serves students in grades four through eight.
