Founded in 1928, Granada Elementary School is governed by Los Angeles Unified School District, and enrolls students in grades kindergarten through five. The school offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs, and its extensive curriculum includes English, science, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. The school offers character education classes, and has a parent-teacher organization to support the work of the school system. It enrolls more than 500 students in Los Angeles County, and is located in Granada Hills, Calif. It is governed by Los Angeles Unified School District, uses Standardized Testing and Reporting program to evaluate students performance.
