Cornerstone Community Bank advertises low mortgage rates to get your application. They lock the rate only after they do the appraisal which happens in about 3 weeks. The rates do not stay the same so you have to get the rate they offer you or loose the appraisal money. When the rates are low they keep asking for documents until the rates are up.
