With an interest in supporting healthy children and families, Kinney Drugs created the nonprofit Kinney Drugs Foundation to benefit health care initiatives throughout northern and central New York and Vermont. Kinney Drugs provides pharmacy, health-related and retail services. The services offered by the stores include 24-hour refill service, free prescription delivery, special needs ordering, a diabetic billing program and FlavoRx prescription flavoring. Non-pharmaceutical services Kinney Drugs provides include free gift wrapping, postage stamps purchasing, one-hour photo processing and Western Union money orders. The company is headquartered out of Gouverneur, N.Y. Orrin Kinney founded the first Kinney Drug Store in 1903.
