- Pediatric CareI love primary care as it enables me to get to know individuals and families at a deeper level. I am proud of the work we do at Maple City Health Care Center to provide medical care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. I also work as a Nursing Professor of Pediatrics at Goshen College.
- Primary Care“There are very few things we do that are more important in primary care than to really listen carefully to patients’ stories.”

- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)I am passionate about helping children, teens, and families to understand mental health and meet individual goals. I especially enjoy helping youth who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, and ADHD. I enjoy making counseling FUN and building trusting therapeutic relationships with my patients. My favorite things include: traveling, scrapbooking, chilaquiles, white chocolate, thunderstorms, spending quality time with family, and laughing with my son and daughter.

- Mental HealthMental health support should be a right, as it impacts all aspects of our lives. Mental health is political, relational, economic, spiritual, racial, and communal. Since the pandemic, life has lead me down a hard, but rewarding journey of deconsructing many things that I had implicitly learned in life. I have 3 beautiful children who keep me tender and have been my greatest teachers in life. I am most alive in nature, reading about faith and justice, eating decadent food and having deep conversations with loved ones.
