Established in 1868, the Goshen Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement services for the city s residents. The department employs more than 60 staff members. It has a citizens academy that educates people about a variety of topics, such as crime prevention and traffic rules. The Goshen Police Department operates various K-9 units. In addition, the department administers a police reserve program that includes volunteer opportunities. It features a curfew for people who are below the age of 18. The Goshen Police Department also enforces a noise ordinance. The department is a part of the government of Goshen City in Indiana.
