  I first met Jamie Smith in March, 2010 when my mother was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was working with her on her strength until she was hospitalized for a hip replacement at the age of 88. After my mother was discharged from the hospital, she was being treated by another therapist who stated “That’s the best she's going to get.” He told us that she would never walk again. At that point, I knew I had to contact Jamie. In my heart, I felt that if anyone could beat the odds it was my mother, but only with Jamie’s help.
