Every time we eat at Philay's the food and service are great. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. There are some items on the menu that are a little different from the usual seafood restaraunt and they are all very good. Family friendly. Try Philay's. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious! Excellent soups! Best hushpuppies ever! This is our second time dining at this restaurant & we definitely intend on returning soon. Recommendation: play soft instrumental jazz as opposed to loud worldly music.

I don't know why the name of the restuarant is Philay's Catfish. I expected to have whole fried catfish or at least filets of catfish. All they had was thin catfish. There weren't any hushpuppies or cole slaw. What kind of catfish restuarant is this? The fried crab claws were okay. The only thing that was very good was the butterbeans with shrimp. We won't be back.

We really enjoyed Philay's. The food was excellent. The thin cut catfish was amazing! The menu appeals to everyone. We went on Monday night and it was kids night. The prices are reasonable and the food was great. We will definitely go back!!

My family and I have eaten here several times since they opened. The food and the service are excellent! Prices are very reasonable. The staff and owners are very welcoming and the food is delicious! The menu has some different items which is refreshing. We will be going back many times!

I was not impressed. I called for dinner to go and asked for their best seller. We got shrimp and butter beans. That's all we got- containers of a few shrimp in a lot of butter beans in a roux-like sauce and containers of rice. It was okay, but not delicious. And certainly not worth $14 each! No salad, no bread, nothing else. Very disappointing.
