Located in Goldsboro, N.C., Eastern Wayne Middle School offers a variety of educational, extracurricular and enrichment programs for students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes a detailed study of science and technology, mathematics, social studies, English, language arts, and health education. It also offers elective courses in music, Spanish, arts, physical education, band and technology. The school also organizes various activities, including debate competitions, battle of the books, math counts, peer mediators, chess clubs, and yearbook. It offers a variety of special education and Title 1 programs for students. Eastern Wayne Middle School enrolls more than 700 students, and is a part of the Wayne County Public Schools.
