Wow! Wish I had tried this place years ago. Such fresh, flavorful well prepared food. defiantly not your typical strip mall Chinese restaurant. I could not believe the quality of the food. And the staff is so friendly. I will never go to any other Asian restaurant in Gloucester or the surrounding area again. The spring rolls are full of fresh shrimp and cooked to perfection, the lo mein is to die for, and my hubby cant get enough of their beef with mixed vegetables. Oh and the place is so clean. Friendly staff, great food and a clean restaurant. Not the norm for G-Town. But I'm so glad I tried it = I will be going back again and again. This is one of Gloucester County's best kept secrets. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

While in the area, my husband and I tried this restaurant on a local's recommendation and we were expecting everything to taste the same. We were amazed! Now my husband and I travel 1.5 hours (one-way) to get there because nothing in Hampton Roads compares to Wild Ginger's outstanding quality and flavor.

My husband and I found Wild Ginger sort of by accident but we will go again and again. The decor is serene, the tea is hot and the food is WONDERFUL. The wait staff was friendly and the food was served in a timely manner. We were there for lunch and what a bargain. Not many places where you can have hot tea, soup, egg roll, AND an entree, for about $6.00. If you're not real familiar with Gloucester, Wild Ginger is tucked in the strip of stores by the Library (with the mural facing the street) and The Dollar General Store, across from the big DAV Store, flying the wonderful huge flag, on the Business Rt. 17. Worth your while to find this jewel.

Food is delicious, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Fast, friendly service and nice atmosphere.

The food was excellent quality and very fresh. We had take out and the man that helped me when I picked up the food was very nice and friendly. I definitely will go there again and will recommend it to others.
