I got a muffin and I didn't notice until I was at work in Boston, that it was as hard as a baseball, it had to be at least a week old. When I told them about it the next day, they said "Oh, I don't know how that could have happened"; not even a mention of a free one. I was given the the wrong muffin twice! The service is exceptionlly slow. I find their coffee to be tasteless. I've tried plenty of items and it is hit or miss. They don't throw out everything that hasn't sold each day.

My Mum lives in Rockport and my sis in Ipswich. When my sister came by during a visit she had a bag of some of the best darned bagels I've had in AGES! And I grew up in Brooklyn, NY so that's saying something. Woo hoo for this find!

Not just great cakes and pastries, his bagels rival New York City!!!! I love the wide variety of cream cheese spreads. Old fashoned donuts too! A great place to go when visiting Gloucester. I'm a local and I go almost every day. Who needs Dunkin.

You won't find a better donut or bagel in Gloucester. Jim's is the place to go!
