General Info
Yes indeed, you found it! It's true; we are making a 100% USA hand-crafted product! These nets are well tailored to fit your needs as a fisherman. The nets have been tested and engineered before going out of our hands into yours. All of the woods used have been dried to 7% or less moisture content. This prevents the wood from checking or splitting. The end result: longevity on all frames. We use hard woods with a lot of character to make it your net. These nets are designed to be ergonomically correct in your hand. Send us a photo of your catch or fishing experience with our net and your picture may just get posted on our site. We are located in the Roaring Fork Valley in Western Colorado. We are surrounded by Gold Medal Rivers, Creeks, and Alpine Lakes, which in return gives us the inspiration that shows in our products. All employees are linked to the great outdoors in many ways and we insist on it. Bill Hilderbrand Bill is an avid fisherman and has been living in this valley for 16 years. Bill is a skilled woodworker and was inspired to create functional art that is affordable. Bill loves the outdoors in many aspects and started Gold Medal Nets in 2010.
