  To expedite your care, we accept walk-ins for all general radiography concerns. Appointments are needed for ultrasound, densitometry, body composition evaluations and Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) studies.

  GMA’s Radiology Department is staffed with Registered Radiologic Technologists with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists), and all X-rays are interpreted by our board-certified radiologists, who are available 24/7. This convenient, on-site service allows a quicker, more accurate diagnosis and treatment protocol for your particular condition or injury. Your results are available the same day for your GMA physician or specialist, or referring physician, with our completely digital imaging procedures. Additionally, many patients experience a much lower out-of-pocket cost, as ours is an outpatient clinical facility.

  A micrographic surgery, Mohs surgery is considered the most effective technique for treating the two most common types of skin cancer: basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) and squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs). The procedure is done in stages, including lab work, while the patient waits. It allows the removal of all cancerous cells for the highest cure rate, while sparing healthy tissue and leaving the smallest possible scar.

  "I love the practice of dermatology. It’s a unique mix between medical, surgical, and cosmetic concerns. Dermatology is also a great field because you can see most of the problems with your eyes. For this reason it is a great way for patients to become an integral part in their own medical care. Everyone should be doing monthly self skin exams and should they find something that they are concerned about, something that has grown or changed, they should come in for evaluation. I would rather have someone come in and find out that what they have is a normal skin finding rather than wait and let a cancer grow because they are unsure they should come in."
