Glenwood Village Care Center is operated by the Glenwood Retirement Village, a member of the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance. Glenwood Village Care Center is a nonprofit, church-sponsored organization that offers health care and support services, including physical therapy, occupational and speech therapies. It is a more than 80-bed, Medicare- and Medicaid-certified facility that also includes a 20-bed special care unit for individuals with Alzheimer s disease and dementia-related disorders. The organization s therapeutic recreation department provides various activities, such as bus rides, picnics and community activities. It is a smoke free facility that also offers an on-site licensed beauty salon and barbershop. Additionally, the organization offers 24-hour skilled nursing care facilities, and social, chaplain, laundry, housekeeping and maintenance services. The care center is located in Glenwood, Minn.
