For 45 years the people of Chicago could count on one constant.AAA Lock and Key. AAA Lock and Key is a family business that was started in Glenview, by its' owner Harry and his wife Shiley. The business has prospered because of the expertise, dedication and remarkable work ethic of ths family. Like most American success stories, this dream started at the kitchen table of newly wed couple. In fact, for the first five years of this journey the business was managed out of their home. Harry would answer calls at all hours of the day and night as he built his company and its reputation. As if that wasn't enough, from 1972 -1976, Harry was a member of the volunteer fire department. With community service cearly in his veins, Harry also spend 11 years on the board of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, durning which he served a term as President. As the years rolled by, Harry's son Darren joined the family business. While technology changed, innovations were introduced and competition from outside sources increased, AAA remained true to its committed to excellence, quality and honest service. Provided by DexKnowsTerrible customer service. I walk in counter guy just stands there looking down. So, I stand there and wait for him to say something like "How may I help you" instead he looks up and stared at me. So I say "Can you help me" After 2 minutes of me wishing I never walked in he takes lock to fix. Comes back and says he can't do the repair. I asked him if he can do something that I knew would work. Because years ago I was a locksmith. He just hands it to me and left. No more conversation. gone If there ever was a business that should go out of business this is the one. 3rd time there always the same

Provided by DexKnowsI had a terrible encounter in a local Evanston park with an AAA operator. I know this is who I was dealing with, as he was parked and sitting in his company's truck, which is pictured and recognizable to me on an AAA Internet ad. Also, when I complained that I would call his place of employment and report his conduct, he replied that this was fine by him, as I would simply get him on the phone when I called. I have a rescued dog, who had formerly been used in dog fight baiting. She'd been torn up by several dogs in the early part of her life. She's not aggressive, but is terrified of oncoming dogs. I asked this man to leash his dog, who had come barrelling toward mine, and he said, "Why, because its owner is a fat b*tch?" His dog continued to run at mine, even though loose dogs were prohibited in this area of the park, and when I implored him to control his dog, he again called me a fat b*tch and told me to "f___ myself." I'd advise anyone not to get involved with this guy.
