Based in Glenn, Calif., the firm specializes in almond processing, marketing and payment services. Some of its partners include Koehnen & Sons Inc. and Paiva Farms. Its Riverwest Plant, situated between the Sierra Nevada and Pacific Coast ranges in California s fertile Sacramento River Valley, offers more than half-a-million acre of the world s productive almond orchards. Riverwest Processing Inc. is a recipient of the 2007 Sanitation Excellence Award by the American Council for Food Safety & Quality. It holds certification for Kosher by the Orthodox Rabbinical Council of San Francisco.
