Eastern Montana Veterans Home, also known as EMVH, is a 60-plus-bed long-term care facility that was built by the state of Montana with the assistance of the Federal Veteran's Administration. The facility offers a range of services to meet the spiritual needs of individuals. It also features a 15-plus-bed unit for individuals with Alzheimer s disease. The facility offers nursing, discharge planning, pharmacy and social services. Eastern Montana Veterans Home also provides physical, occupational and respiratory therapies. It organizes several activities, as well as provides laundry services. The facility is managed by the Glendive Medical Center, which is one of the leading providers of health care services in eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
