Glendive Public Schools formerly known as Dawson County District administers the functioning of schools in the district. It operates various schools that include Dawson County High school, and Lincoln and Jefferson elementary school. Its office is located in Glendive, Mont. The schools offer various subjects in its curriculum, including literature, history, English, geography, American history. Additionally, the schools teach subjects, such as biology, computers, accounting, chemistry, creative writing, and special and physical education. It offers various sports activities to students, such as basketball, football, cheerleading, track, baseball and softball. The amenities offered by the schools include library, media center, gymnasium and playgrounds. It offers various extracurricular activities to students, including school band, fine arts, music concerts, quiz contests and field trips. Glendive Public Schools also runs an educational foundation, which organizes various fund raising events.
