Action for Eastern Montana is a community action agency that offers a range of services and is located in Glendive, Mont. It offers transportation, skilled nursing, personal and respite care, home-delivered meals, health promotion and disease prevention services. It is certified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a housing counseling agency and offers budget, reverse annuity mortgage and rental counseling services. It provides a range of academic and occupational learning opportunities for children from 14 to 21 years. The organization s youth program includes tutoring assistance, study skills training, adult mentoring, guidance and counseling. It also offers a low-income energy assistance program that pays a part of winter energy bills for eligible families.
