Provided by YP.comWe were originally told in the store that the total price would be $450 if we paid in cash for a 7' x 13' room. The receipt we received after putting down a $60 deposit said that our balance due at installation was $390.
After the installation, I'm told the balance due is $440 even though it says $390 on the receipt. We called the store and apparently the padding was changed from the 1/2" "best padding they have" to an even better 1/2" padding and it would cost us an extra $50. We originally paid for the "best padding they had" - there is no reason why we would have to pay extra for this.
We agreed on $450 and I ended up paying an extra $50 for something we ordered in the first place.
Edit: The store agreed over the phone to send a check in the mail for $50. Then they blew up my phone and left multiple messages because of this review. They also called my husband's work phone over the review.
Edit: In the end I received the $50. Was it worth the fight and aggravation? No.
Edit: Four weeks after the installation of my living room carpet, nails are beginning to rip through the carpet.

Provided by YP.comFrom onset to completion, Bay Carpet did not disappoint.
The salesman, Mark arrived promptly. There was no hard sell about choosing one product over another. 50% deposit required.
Dan, the manager, called the day before installation to review the terms of our contract. He assured me that I would be pleased with the results.
On the day of the laminate floor installation, the two-crew members, Alex and another worker, arrived on time, were courteous, and worked diligently. They removed all of the old carpeting, tied it in manageable cylinders, and carried it out to my trash receptacle. They also moved several pieces of furniture (Note: It is an additional $75). They installed the beautiful new flooring in two rooms and 2 closets ($4300). some minor dusting was required to pick up dust. The entire process took under 5 hours.
I highly recommend this company for your floor installation project. Their professionalism exceeded my expectations.

Provided by YP.comDon't trust this company. They are quick to show up at your doorstep with carpet samples, but the samples do not represent their low-quality, off color carpet. I was horrified to see that the carpet they installed in my home looked nothing like the sample. When I complained, I was told I should lay out more money. They were rude and dishonest. I would NOT recommend anyone using Bay Carpet.
