Dr. Sandra Leedy is truly living her passion. With a tender, artistic touch and a relentless pursuit for clinical excellence, Dr. Leedy loves giving her patients an exceptional dental experience. Every day that she can practice dentistry is a gift. Dr. Leedy grew up in a loving family of 8 children, with extremely hard working parents. Dentistry was a luxury, and she did not have much access to dental care when she was younger. At 18, she had her 1st visit to the dentist, and was in excruciating pain. Life changing pain. She had to make a startling decision of either saving her teeth, or continue saving up for her 1st car. She continued riding her bike to work, and began a career in dental assisting shortly thereafter. She fell in love with her work and never looked back. After 10 years of dental assisting, Dr Leedy had learned 3 standouts that make her unique: 1)compassion and a complete understanding of patients in pain, 2) the value of a dollar and the investment that good, lasting dentistry can require, 3) ~ her favorite!~ the life changing power of a confident smile! Dr. Leedy is an Arizona native, growing up in Flagstaff, and moving to Phoenix in 2006 to be close to family and follow her dreams of a formal dental education. She attended Arizona State University, with a bachelors degree in Biology, and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University, in Glendale, AZ. It was a long road to get where she is today, but Sandra would not change one single step. Dr. Leedy practices conservative dentistry, treating every patient as if it was herself sitting in the chair. She understands that dentistry requires open ears to understand where the patient is coming from, and where they want to go. Dentistry also requires a soft hand, a skilled eye, and an open heart.
