Located in Glendale, Ariz., Challenger School promotes the intellectual, physical and social development of students and offers a curriculum established by the school board. The school has various departments, such as library, guidance, events and food services. It provides education to more than 500 students in grades four through eight. Challenger School offers programs in art, computer science, foreign languages, health science, industrial arts and instrumental music. The school additionally organizes a range of extracurricular activities. The school employs a counselor who organizes individual and group sessions with students. A part of the Glendale Elementary School District 40, Challenger School s sports activities include football, volleyball, basketball and baseball.
