Trailblazer Joint Powers Board, marketed under the name, Trailblazer Transit, is a general public transportation system consisting of a bus system and a volunteer driver program. Based in Gaylord, Minn., the company serves Sibley and McLeod Counties. The firm provides dial-a-ride service in which customers call a dispatcher to schedule times and locations for pickups and drop-offs. It operates up to nine bus schedules each day with a fleet of 12 buses. The buses can hold up to 17 seated passengers and feature padded seats, air conditioning and extra large windows for viewing pleasure. All the buses are equipped with an elevator for serving people with special disabilities.
